America Is Purple

America is Purple is dedicated to promoting centrism in America. We believe that neither Democrats nor Republicans have it all figured out. The best way lies somewhere in the middle. We would like to find that middle ground. At the same time we promote those candidates who serve to unite the nation and deride those who seek to divide it. We believe that a conversation is possible between all people with all their varying views and opinions that does not devolve into a shouting match. We are dedicated to the ideas that unite us as a nation, that inspire us to live up to the high ideals of our nation’s founders. We also seek to find solutions to the pressing problems of our day. We have hope that a civil discourse on these issues is possible and will lead to innovative solutions. Most of all we encourage all people, with all points of view, to think rationally and clearly about their own beliefs and biases and be open to change, new ideas, and hope.
